Introduction

Southern Union Inc. is a renowned multinational company involved in major mechanical and civil engineering projects. This company was founded by childhood friends, Ir. Thiyagaraj Raman and Ir. Sundara Pandian Perumal, both who have extensive experience in the engineering line. Starting off from scratch as a simple construction company, Southern Union Inc. has evolved over the years to become one of the giant engineering companies in the ASEAN continent.

            We are very much a client oriented company, and believe in serving the best for our customers’ every need, which is in line with our motto, ‘customer first, performance next.’ As it has always been our priority to serve your needs, we thrive to deliver to a smaller budget. This is not impossible for us, as we are also the parent company to many other smaller industries, mostly of which deal with raw materials, enabling us to deliver at a lower cost.

            We have also been awarded the “Green Company Of The Year” award for two consequent years, 2008 and 2009. This is due to our environmentally friendly approach in handling our customers’ every request and need. We stand apart from other companies in this aspect, as we are able to offer environmentally friendly solutions at the cheapest possible cost. And amazingly enough, we have not suffered any losses in the past 10 years.

            We have been appointed the major contractors and consultants in a great many 21^st Century projects. The pinnacle of our success is the successful completion of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in 1998 as well as the Burj Tower in Dubai. We are also the proud owners of the tender which allows us to carry out maintenance and refurbishment works on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
